Saisilks, Inc. is a wholesale fabric company, specializing in high-end fashion and upholstery fabrics. With a warehouse and showroom situated in the heart of the fashion district, it is one of America’s largest stockists of high end silk and specialty fabrics.

Its origins were humble. Saisilks was conceived more than 35 years ago by four brothers who had migrated to this country, seeking the American dream. The company started, like so many others, in the basement of a house. The brothers would take turns travelling to India to source exquisite textiles, woven raw silks, hand embroidered and hand printed fabrics from obscure artisan villages around India, and sell it to stores, manufacturers, high-end designers, interior decorators, costume designers, theatrical stages, big budget cinema, etc.

As the demand and appetite for those fabrics increased, they began renting a small office on the 5th floor of a building in the fashion district. And what started as a 500 sq ft office slowly grew to a 15,000 sq ft warehouse, showcasing a plethora of textiles in endless colors, textures and designs.

With the addition of the second generation of the family, Saisilks is venturing into the international markets, as well as increasing its presence in North America. Saisilks Inc prides itself on its superior quality, exceptional service and, most of all customer satisfaction.
